Week 8: Watch what you say, the baby has ears!
This week is another big week for the baby! The many things growing include eyelid folds, nerve cells in the retina, nose, ears, heart valves and tubes in the throat. The elbows are present, the arms and legs are continuing to grow and the fingers and toes are beginning to become more distinguished. The baby is the size of a pinto bean. So far, I’m still feeling great. I’ve had a few fat days and some days where I’m so tired I can’t wait to sit down and then when I do, I’m restless and feel like I should be doing something. But I don’t FEEL like doing anything. Grrr… Anyway, I can’t complain because I’d rather be tired than hugging a toilet. The other relief of the week: we have finally had rain here in Phoenix and the temperature has dropped below 100 degrees…ahhh….
